ARP-ZIP is a software utility for the IBM i that supports zipping and unzipping of many types of compressed files and archives including:   ZIP, TAR, JAR, GZIP, and BZIP2. Unlike other zipping utilities for the IBM i that can get expensive, ARP-ZIP supports various encryption methods (password zip, AES).   There are no limitations on file size and compression results can be over 90% in file size reduction.  ARP-ZIP's encryption is compatible with commonly used products such as WinZip, 7-Zip and PKZIP.
